I liked Keller's alot. But idea of the same old thing of standing around in the same parking lot, every Wednesday every week, sounds monotonous.
I'll throw out a couple of places. "Flips Patio Grill" in Grapevine has a massive outdoor deck (with chairs!) $2.50 22oz domestic beers on Wed. Pretty easy to get to right @ Main St. and 114.
A favorite place of mine that we frequent is Amore's Pasta & Pizza on Cheek-Sparger and Brown Trail. 2 miles off 121 or 2 miles off 183 depending where you're coming from, so it is not on the highway but well worth finding. It's a simple Italian restaurant with great calzone and inexpensive prices on their daily specials. BYOB and has outdoor dining as well which opens out to the parking lot, although I'm not sure if that is allowed beyond the dining areas.

+1 for being able to see the cars.
Poor Will, I ramble/run-on all the time too.

I'm not much of a bar person beer taste like pee pee and yeast mixed up with a few hops! <------haha! For real though Kellers is a good place to meet, but where are most people on here from? I live in mesquite. Is it best for everyone to meet in dallas or outskirts or do we have enough FT. Worth guys and we could have a halfway point to have the meet.

wow.... my rambling started a discussion; sorry guys.
I'd offer up meeting spots but all of them are down this way...
Maybe alternate weeks - eastside/westside...or just keep it the way it is...somebody says - hey we're meeting here...show don't show...whatever! But it was COOL and a nice surprise to have so many cars show up at Kellers!
There's a Keller's Drive-in on the westside near 35 as well. Not sure if they have the convenience of the "back lot"...not exactly Lewisville or Ft. Worth...doesn't bother us to drive a little distance in good weather!

Didn't know about the "other" Kellers. That's a great idea. Isn't there some kind of old drive-in near the Stockyards in FW?

Is shuck and jive a bar? Where is the parking lot? Some parts of Greenville are horrible about car break ins.

I'm not sure if I can make this one but Amore's that Cam posted sounds good to me, BYOB, access to the parking lot with visibility of the cars and outside patio dinning, and calzones means it gets my vote.

From their website:
I am not interested in going down to the Greenville one. (I didn't even know about one down there.)Family owned and operated, Shuck N Jive restaurants provide a collective gathering place offering exceptional cocktails, sports entertainment, and great food. Each establishment offers a high quality, yet relaxed environment where you and your friends can unwind during lunch or celebrate at the end of a hard work day. Our restaurant serves a variety of Cajun dishes, as well as your every day favorites, with a friendly wait staff that makes your dining experience above all others. For your enjoyment, all our locations include full-service bars featuring premium liquors. A fine selections of domestic, imported and specialty beers can also be found within each establishment. An array of large screen TV’s highlight the walls to bring your favorite game to your favorite place. Providing you many different games of skill for your entertainment, Shuck N Jive strives to be the new late night destination for all!
Yep... that one, or the one on Rosemede and Midway is what I had in mind. Both are in strip malls with plenty of parking, and serve a full menu of food.
Pick one and make it the "spot", Titus. Executive decision time! :)
