So Rick - how long do you think that smile on your face will last? At least until Hallet? Good to hear you had such a good time and made it back without a scratch!! Great pictures!

I'm sure a lot of bucket lists have just been revised! Including MINE!

As Nails said - on par with a trek to Sturgis for bikers...that was one of the best trips of my life! Never a dull moment. And taking time to enjoy the journey is even better!

The Corkscrew is FUN!!! The combination of the vertical drop and the banking on 8A make for a great slingshot into 9. Wheeee!

I never quite nailed the line, but I sure would like to go back and practice...

I got all my good pix posted up on Flickr...

I've also got a nice video of my last session that we shot with Juano's camera, but I'm going to see about cutting it down to a more manageable size before I post it up.

Here's an example of why you might want to think twice before you make a "bra" out of blue painter's tape...

Yeah, those 'tards fall in line with the thieves that broke into my trailer and also vandalized the expensive motor home at my storage place.

Looking at those pics and hearing the stories, now I want to go! Is this thing every year? I guess if I start saving my pennies and not buy that sexy red valve cover, I will have enough by next year!

If my car proves to be reliable over the next year of track beating, then I'll put the tire trailer on it, drive out there to compete.

I just got an email today from Rick Weldon, an organizer of the event and he said there would be another one. He didn't say when but he said we would get a survey to make sure the next one is even better and that there would be another because everyone involved thought it was a great success.

Call me crazy but I would have laughed if the tagging on the tape was on my car, it seemed to be good natured and funny and everyone I meet out there had a great attitude and was really upbeat.

Yeah, the grafitti was all in good fun, of course. When we stopped at the big rock, they added one more small piece of blue tape with a "T" on it - stuck down just to the right of a "TEIN" sticker...

I can't see any reason why I wouldn't be able to go again. I'm sure I'll have even more fun if I can get out of novice before then.
