Actually, over on theboard, there's been quite the discussion about this car... much controversy over the Sunkist. I got to through a couple of shots in myself!

3Bean, your avatar is giving me a headache. :P
Well, I personally might be able to see paying $22k for one of the color cars... if it didn't have a salvage title, 30k miles, and a few mods that aren't 100% reversible (like a rollbar).![]()
If I wanted an orange NA that bad, I'd buy one with a clean title and have it repainted to match. I wouldn't care if it was one of the "original" color cars or not.

Yea I love the guy onboard, who stated the car had been restored!
Sunkist was in an accident on an L.A. freeway, was hit hard from behind and pushed into the car infront at I think about 50-60 Mph.
i dont think that color is even spectacular, i know its "rare", but not worth all the bickering they are doing.

I have to admit, the car, in it's current state, is uber-sexy. I love that color, those wheels, the whole look on that car. But I don't think I'd even near half the asking price knowing the crash history of the vehicle. It's nowhere near being original.
Yah,
I threw in my 2 cents but then all the pointies started bickering and restating the same $^%* over and over again.
I like the car but agree with altian. (holy crap that's scary!)![]()
If I wanted an orange Miater, I'd paint one myself and drive it's wheels off.
One thing is for sure, the car was fixed right. I'm not sure of the value. Predicting the future is not one of my numerous talents. The value is ultimately determined by the next owner. Should be interesting to see if there are any rich fools out there.
Oh, there are plenty. Question is whether one of them is foolish enough to pay $22k for a salvage-titled 1990 Miata. :POriginally Posted by droptop

I've got just the answer: Buy my Silver, paint it Orange and you've got an Orange Turbo '90 Miata. Now how rare is that :o , plus I've got a clear title. I'll even let you have my '90 for a mere $9,999
On another note. I'm thinking I'll sell the '90 Miata. I'm thinking of asking $7400. Is that reasonable?
Here's whats wrong with it. Tranny is a little notchy, It's been hit on both ends :o (no sex jokes please).
Here's what it has: 103,xxx miles, BEGI 4.2 Turbo (Garret BBB Trubo T-25?, Bell AFPR, Dual Fuel Pumps producing 108psi, FM Inner Cooler, A/F guage, EGT guage, Boost guage) @8psi 8deg of timing, ACT HD Clutch, New Top in 2003, Alum Race radiator, All new belts: including T-belt, New Water Pump, all new hoses at 69k miles, P/S, PB, A/C, FM Dual Exhaust.

Based on what we know you paid for the '97, I'd say no.Originally Posted by TurboDuane

I wasn't going to base it on what I paid for the '97, I think I stole it![]()
