    Default tough lesson to learn

We have a son and his friend that works for a company that has a business inside another companies warehouse.
The other day a friend of his was arrested on the job for theft of the other company .He was caught red handed but assured them our son had no knowledge or involvement
No one has told our son anything other than he is under investigation and is not allowed back in their building. He was not told this until after he got home and was called.
The company he worked for terminated him for theft but have no proof no investigation not even a police officer has talked to him
I assure you our boys are not perfect as any kid is subject to do anything.
We do feel comfortable that he is not involved he has even told them he would submit to a lie detector test or show them what they have on camera and give him a chance to explain what they see.
Both have been refused by both companies.
He talked to a lawyer and was told not much he can as they can say anything to him ,its only if he applies for another job and they say he was fired for theft he has a case if really innocent
This is not a guy that finds jobs easily as he is real shy and standoffish so
he is really taking this hard .
We have come to the conclusion that he is guilty by association since his friend and him did ride together to work.
You would think if there was any involvement on his part they would have at least held him for questioning or give him a chance to explain his side ,he was asking how do you prove you did not do anything when no one will give you a chance
Just thought I would pass this on if any of your young ones have friends that are sort of shady let them see this
Or if anyone knows where a job opening is for a laborer would appreciate a heads up. He has told a couple of companies that he was accussed of theft which speaks of his honesty

Well in Texas you can get terminated without cause at any time (and by the same note you can leave at any time), so he doesn't have a case there.

The issue will be that when a prospective employer calls to verify employment and one of the few questions that are allowed is asked "would you hire them again?" and they say no. That's a huge red flag.

In any case, my brother does work for a couple companies that do rigging and lighting for concerts (House of Blues, the new Cowboys stadium, etc.). They *might* be hiring, but I don't talk to my brother much so I can't get you a good lead as to who to talk to. Maybe call the HoB and see who does their setup and tear down?
