Sure doesn't seem like 700 whp if it can barely pull a R6. Also I'm not sure how many miles that stock diff is going to last if it makes that much power.

In the dyno graph they briefly showed in the first vid, the 700+ is a momentary blip. The rest of the graph is in the 690 range. Not knocking that. It is still an accomplishment. I just think that saying you have a 700 HP car is a little misleading given the graph he shows.

450lb/ft, on a dynojet...lol. I bet its a real joy to drive on a track.

On dallas imports we had a guy making 413fwhp in a EG civic hatch on a stock internal integra GSR motor. Here is his car on 330whp i think.

I have had a ton of friends go there for Tunes and Fab work. All the things that come from T1 are top notch and not to mention they are safe tunes. They don't blow up a month down the road. We have a guy on this board who has a silver miata i think he was tuned by Tony. I met him at the meet at 635 and coit. I wasnt trying to start an argument with yall i was just showing yall some of the number and stuff he has done. Also he has the fastest street street integra in the world. We have some guys that go to the drift event in Mineral Wells aswell that go to him. Like i said i was just showing yall some stuff i thought was neat and very impressive 690-700whp on a stock 2.2liter engine and 413whp on a stock internal B18.

Meh, I'd much rather use an eddy-control dyno. FYI, he doesn't like MS and he'll tell you all about it.

Just about the convo about Tony... Mr Brg why dont you show us some stuff that you fav. North Texas tuner has done... just to show how great he is! Not arguing but it just seams like you are tying to start something with out showing something...

I am my favorite DFW tuner. Ask anyone who's driven my car, they may agree with you. I'm also not open for business and a total amateur, but I can't seem to find any other miata tuners or companies making 252wtq on a dynodynamics box with a gt2860rs at 15psi. I was very frustrated by difficulty finding someone to tune the car, so I read two books and did the tuning myself.

I dont' care to give away money to "tuners" who won't discuss their method or metrics they tune by, and unfounded opinions and statements of excellence. I also believe in a free market and a company's right to refuse business to anyone. I have no doubt that I'm grossly inferior to most people who've done any real tuning, but if they want to play hardball with me they won't get my money.

I refuse to give someone my $$$ in motor and turbo for a product they chock up to a trade-secret, unless they want to enter into an agreement on the longevity of the mechanical bits.

    Stock Engine? Really?

What are his oil temps and coolant temps?

Nice bragging rights, but what does it run at a drag strip or the track? I'm all about the specs and I want to see the results, too.

Well that is kinda the point of a "Tuner".... why would someone tell you their secrets? Its like going to place that has some good food but they have a great secret traditional recipes. you pay but you don't get the secrets... Just like a tuner, why would they tell you? they tell you, you do it on your friends car and there goes their money. I'm sure that they will be willing if you pay extra. But there is a reason people don't like customers to look over their shoulders while they are working.

I want to know if he tuned my motor for something reasonable, or if he put it at MBT so I will post crazy #'s on the internet and drum up business for him. Remember all the internet-drama about that "Shiv" guy who was getting turbo cars to spool insanely fast by inducing detonation? What about CTC tuning who liked to put fuel at 14.0:1 to build mid-rpm horsepower?

That's exactly why I want to know how my motor/money was tuned, so I don't have to pay someone $400-$1000 so I can go home and fix what they thought was a good idea.

"Thanks for the g-bar. I can't tell you how I tuned or if there's going to be detonation on the road, but if it blows up because of it, don't call me until you're ready for me to tune it again because its a trade secret."
