Most all online vendors store both a billing address and a shipping address. Sounds like they only updated the billing address.
I ordered some pads from Trussville and they were scheduled for delivery today. The UPS guy usually shows up around 5 out here so I look on the porch at 6 and no parts. So I go inside and get on the interweb and UPS has the parts status as delivered. HUH??? The delivery confirmation says they were left on the porch but nothing is out there and our neighborhood is not exactly close to anything so I'm thinking no one stole them. Next step is to check my Paypal account shipping address and that's correct so now I'm kinda stumped. Went to the phone and called Trussville and of course they are already closed. Last thing I can think of is to call UPS and when I say my tracking number they tell me it was delivered to my OLD ADDRESS! WTF??
I can't figure out how that happened but good thing I only moved 17 miles away. So I get in the car and drive over there and sure enough it's on their front porch. I picked it up and got back in the car and opened the box to check the order. There inside is my invoice with my current address on it however the outside of the box has the old address.
Still can't figure it out so I will call tomorrow.

but the shipping address on the invoice was correct and I was billed properly. Two different databases for shipping?

They probably use a UPS web interface that they print ship lables from which has all of their contacts in it. While they updated their information in their internal database, whoever shipped the product was either very busy or lazy and did not verify the shipping address that was in the UPS system and just selected the name.
