    Default using ether to seat the bead on a tire.

    Anybody ever used this method of seating the bead on a tire? I'd never heard of this method.

    They did that on the North Pole special of Top Gear. Kept knocking the tire off the rim and one of the locals used that trick to re-seat it.

    I'm thinking that this method probably isn't "Hal approved".

    That's as safe as quilting compared to some of the flammable vapors my friends used to reseat tires while scaling rocks at 5 psi...

    I've done it with a propane torch and flint striker on tractor tires.
    Green Acres tractor not Smokey and the Bandit tractor.

    We did that at the last mineral wells drift event its harder on a low pro it seems
