I've had them on past cars, so i put them on my miata. So far, I'm very pleased. Like you said-- low dust, quiet, brake well, and a fraction of the cost of the hawk pads.
Has anyone put Wagner Thermoquiet pads on their miata? How did they work out? I've put them on my other cars and always liked them, very quiet, no dust and seem to brake well.
Was thinking about putting a set on the front of my 99. Mostly a DD with an occasional AX so I really like the quiet, low/no dust aspects. Thought I might put something with a little more bite on the back, possibly some EBC greens.
Any Thoughts? TIA.

I've also had excellent results from Wagner Thermoquiets on a variety of cars. Probably not a hardcore Autox'ers ideal pad, but as good as or better than oem, IMHO. They definitely do the job they claim to do: quiet, reliable, low-dust, long-lasting.

I've got about 8k miles on the Wagner Thermoquiets on my '04 Vue, and overall they're ok, better than OEM, but I have gotten them hot enough to fade a couple times now. My dad runs an auto supply store and he swears by them, says all of his customers that buy them say they're great. I had a little bit of squeak under light braking for the first few thousand miles, but I took them back off when putting on some new wheel bearings, and greased them up again and now they truly are thermo-QUIET, and very little dust, even with Autocross use and aggressive street driving.
I know, it's hard to compare my 3800 pound Vue to a Miata, but it's probably the same compound across all sizes. I used white-box chinese rotors and managed to do new front brakes for about 1/3 what I've seen a set of Hawk pads going for online.
