Are you thinning it 50/50 with mineral spirits before rolling? We used to thin it with acetone for spraying. Glass like finish. I have even thinned it with kerosene when trying to keep a wet edge with a brush on a large surface. (boat).

Yes, I did 50/50 at first and it would run too easily on vertical surfaces. I ended up doing a 60/40 ratio of paint to mineral spirits and it worked out very nicely. It also depends on the weather conditions, humidity etc.
