You might be able to cheap up a window like the PO of my car did.
Looks like they used a good window from a non matching top, and just hog ringed it in place. I've also seen nice heavy gauge clear vinyl material at Jo-Annes. I wonder If it could be epoxied in place of the old window..... cut a section of vinyl larger than the window opening and make a window sandwich..... the PILOBOND adhesive that was suggested to me at Elliot's Hardware has worked great on my top......

I glued in the back window of my 1991 about 3-years ago and its still water tight and can handle triple a few runs up to 137mph according to the Garmin. My only regret is not getting the smoked/tinted vinyl at the fabric store.

i can tell you how to do it in detail, but most people don't think it works so they ignore the typing effort.

Got a link to the write up? The thickest vinyl strips I could find was at Walmart, and it wasn't very thick. I couldn't find the right silicone glue (I'll try epoxy I guess) to hold the vinyl in place. Left it on with weights for a good amount of time but it peeled off like rubber : /.

I think I still have the window from my previous top in a closet if you're interested in it.

I bought my new rear window material from these guys.
