Default Thanks Rick, Vernon and my son

A big thanks to Rick, Vernon and my son in getting me back on the road again last night after the TDR event at MSR. The alternator decided to die after my last session. The battery was totaled drained by the time I got on to Hwy 20 at Benbrook. While my son and I were trying to figure what to do at the side of the Hwy, both Ricky and Vernon showed up within 10 minutes. They both took charge in getting the busted alternator out while my son went to Arlington to get a new one. We didn't get back on the road until 9:30!

    Thanks again guys!

Kind of a lucky break that we we all going the same way home (and that you guys left first!). It was quite the team bonding experience... and now we know how to perform an emergency roadside alternator swap!

Glad you made it all the way home without incident...

just helping out, I hate that stranded feeling and have been there before. I'm glad that fixed it and they were able to make it home.
Good seeing everyone again at the TDR event.
