Default 93 EG Civic Alternator Replacement

    Hi all,

Anyone know how hard is to replace an alternator on a 93 civic? Did a brief search online, looks like it's gonna be hard to get it out of the engine bay?

Any tips will be greatly appreciated!

    TIA,

If it's anything like my '89 Civic... it was a bit of a tight fit (TWSS). I was able to remove the driver's side front wheel and get it detached from the bracket and belt. Then I could turn the steering wheel to one side or the other (don't remember right off ) to get the steering linkage out of the way enough for it to come out the bottom of the car.

It was close and took a bit of finagling to get it out.

Otherwise, you were going to have to take off the intake and take it out of the top.

Well ... I don't expect everyone to round off the nut on the alternator bracket...
