If anyone is interested...I have home-brew race seat for sale, cheap. It's a '99 seat that has had a foam-ectomy and has an oval hole cut into the back rest for harness access. Mounted on stock sliders.
It's not pretty, but it's functional.Perfect for you once- or twice-a-year track guys that won't want to spend $$ on a true track seat.
