I must admit that sniping doesn't make a difference much of the time. If there is anyone else sniping at the same time, it really just turns the auction into a silent auction. I have always preferred this, as it protects me from myself. Before I began sniping (manually by the way 'cause I can be a CB too), I would bid like 3 Bean. The problem was, I would get caught up with the excitement and raise my max bid in the heat of the moment. That leads to buyer’s remorse.

At fees of $.25 to $5.00 it is reasonable.
What's eBay?
Of all the world's greatest contradictions...'British Engineering' is by far my favorite oxymoron.
I think it's a trading post where you can give your old car and some ca$h for a nice pretty Miata.

Lightness? What's that? I drive a PRHT!
I would like to take a moment to apologize to anyone lacking Alligator Hide that may have taken offense to being referred to as a Simpleton. Perhaps I should have used a more politically correct term.... say Educationally challenged EBay Troll?![]()
