Nice man cave!![]()
Been in da house for 8 months and finally got around to emptying boxes and building a workbench. Put together the cabinets last week, dropped a coax for DirectTV, and got wireless interweb running. Because the garage faces east and a window that opens with a large tree shading the house, it stays relatively comfortable. First time I have ever owned a 3 car garage and been able to get all 3 cars in. The wife's Kia Sportage goes in the left bay.

God that's a nice garage. Almost makes me weep. My dream garage will have three bays and at least one lift :)

Still have to mount some under cabinet lighting and place an oscillating fan on the ceiling secured to a stud and pointed at the workbench. Didn't have the money for a lift but the plan is still to put a air compressor in the attic above the garage and have the pull down hose. There is an access door that is 4' x 4' in the master closet that I can get it up there with. The builder placed a couple of electrical outlets for me on a support beam. He also gave me two thermostatically controlled fans mounted on the roof to kick on and suck hot air out anytime the temps reached 112 and over in the attic.
I would like to host another tech day out here when someone feels the need for speed or maintenance. :)

Hell in a Texas summer those fans will proabaly run all the time. I like the drop down hose idea. I'm thinking of putting some piping running around the shop we have now with air hook-ups at various points. A lift I think would require a taller garage.

Nice place gets nicer!

All it needs is somebody's stray socket hanging on a nail above the doorand a floor drain for the roadkill carnage
I need to get out there some week (it'll take that long to make a round trip) to see all this.
Come on out and bring that expensive tool you have so lovingly protected for the last 4 years.![]()

That is pretty nice. I need to get our storage shed built so I can paint my garage and do the flooring.
What flooring coat did you go with?

I did it once myself at my other house before I sold it and it was really hard to get an even coat so I hired a painter dude who needed the work.

Much nicer then when we removed your road-kill.
