2009 SCCA Southwest Region Divisional #2, 7/11-7/12, TMS Bus Lot

I came out for a while on Saturday, got shots from heats 2 and 3. Should be posting sometime this week (hopefully, there are 2800+ pics to go through and my main PC went down last Thursday and I am still putting it back together).

Looked like a fun course on Saturday, glad I didn't run though, it was insanely hot!!! Not sure if I could have taken it for 2 days.

Was it hot? I hear there was close to 1000 lbs of ice provided for the event, and I must have dumped 25 lbs in my own cooler.

It hasn't cooled off yet, so in the immortal words of our fearless leader Sunday afternoon, "Remember to keep drinking".

I think it's cool how the first cone stays in the air for a whole bunch of frames. There's almost a point where there are 2 in the air at once.

Does anyone else know if there are any other pictures of the event? I was in the first heat so I was missed by autocrosspictures.net and could really use a new desktop background.
