If you're referring to the battery placement, it's between the heater core/blower fan assembly and the firewall. After spending the last few weekends stripping a '74 B-GT, these little MG details are popping out. The pedal assembly, along with the associated clutch & brake masters, is also oriented quite differently as far as mounting location goes.
Of note: the '74 B-GT only has (well, had) two wipers, but my dad's old '78 B, like the listed Midget, had three.

If I'm not mistaken, I think my dad's old E-Type Jag has 3 wipers too.
...and, yes, I had to stare at the engine bay for a while before I spotted the battery. Looks like it'd be a bitch to get out, but at least it's more convenient than the one in the B!
