Soooooo I went to get my inspection today and they told me my Miata won't pass because I took the turn signals out and just mounted the bulbs. Which sucks because I lost the lenses, anybody know where I can get a cheap pair of lenses or hell just borrow a pair so that I can get my inspection. The idiot at the inspection place was like just run to the STEALERSHIP and get a pair...I was like, you're an idiot do you know what that will cost.

2008.5 CWP MS3: JBR 70d trilogy engine mounts, short throw shifter & shift plate bushings; AST 4100 w/ 400lb springs f/r; JRZ camber plates
Go out to your Miata and flip the headlights up, peel the black weatherstripping back and there is a premade hole that the bulb fits into. Feed the buld from the bottom and go in with the harness from the top and voila you have TSI's. Looks pretty cool because during the day it's just a hole but at night it lights up orange. Takes about 5 minutes to do.
All said and done it looks like this...

Seriously doubt that, here is why it failed: from DMV Inspection Criteria
Inspection Procedure. Check operation and condition visually.
Inspect for and reject if:
Lamps are required and not present.
Device is not securely mounted or properly located on the vehicle.
Device is not of a type meeting Department standards.
Lamp lens is discolored or missing.
Wiring insulation is worn, rubbed bare, or shows any evidence of burning, short circuiting, or poor electrical connections.
Switch is not convenient to driver or indicator light does not operate.
Signal shows any color other than white or amber to the front, or signal shows any color other than red or amber to the rear.
Signal does not flash or is not operating properly.
Signal is not clearly visible to the front and to the rear of the vehicle.
Lens is cracked or broken to the extent that a portion of the lens is missing and/or separated, permitting light from the bulb to emit through the crack or break.

I have to replace my passenger rear tire before I do anything, the first place I went to told me no because I had a roll bar, what kind of shit is that? I lived here 7 years ago and had a turbo nitrous Civic and you could throw a dude 40 bucks and they would deliver the sticker to your house, damn I miss those days!
