If you get one/both of the TV tuner cards, yes. SD (cable now that SD OTA is gone), ATSC OTA HD and QAM HD (on your time warner cable).
Then you use mythtv (linux) or a windows product to act as a DVR.
I also have a Linksys MCE extender that I'm selling too.
