Divs are always a good time because you get to compete against people from outside of our region and there is good competition. If you have not been to a Div, it is a two day event and the sum from your fastest times on both days determine your finishing position. They have a welcome party on Friday night and then an event party on Saturday night.

Wow, we have eight drivers in STS! That's a far cry from the two at the Houston Tour and four at the Houston Div. It should be good times.
Plus, we have a LS1 Miata versus an LS1 BMW (GMW) in XP.
There is currently a 75% chance that a Maxcy will win AS. Damn Maxcys are like ants! Worse than the Jonses.
There is only one entry in Tire, and he's easy to beat, so come join us! Where are all of the Tire classers?
Ok, talked me into it. I'm in![]()
Brad, can you let whomever is in charge of the registration and payment check on mine (Dan Lantz) as I seem to have screwed up and possibly registed twice?? It's (axware) showing $140 (one paid and one "pending?).
My goal is to be within 10 secs of Jungle Cat
See ya'll there.
Just so everyone knows.........
The late registration fee, that was scheduled to take into effect on Monday - July 6th, has been waived for the Ft Worth Div!
Also, unlike regular SCCA autoX's, "walk-up" registrations will not be allowed for this event!
As a side note, it sounds like the Saturday night Party/Dinner will be at the Speedway (airconditioned) Clubhouse/Swimming Pool!!!![]()
I'm in for Tire Class!![]()
On a more serious note...if anyone needs and race fuel let me know. I can take some up for this weekend. :)

It's official! The Saturday Night Party will be in the Clubhouse at TMS. For those of you that haven't been - that means air conditioned comfort and a giant Texas shaped swimming pool. Bring your swim suits!
Reports that the Swedish Bikini Team will be making an appearance are likely exaggerated, but you never know.
We've got some very accomplished grill masters that have volunteered to welcome you Friday after your trip to town. No need to pop for dinner - in addition to the usual stuff (burgers and dogs) we'll have some Chicken Spiedies. If you've ever travelled through upstate NY you know what a spiedie is. If you haven't - you've got one more thing to look forward to at the divisional!
Don't forget that the host hotel still has rooms available, and it's very conveniently located just across the street from the speedway. It's a REALLY nice hotel - many in town folks are taking advantage of it, too. They've got plenty of trailer parking available.
Matt
A Z06 is just like a Miata, but with the other half of the motor . . .
