Welllll, that's interesting. Didn't know that. Mine has the sport suspension, LSD, and black interior. The hardtop is actually from a 1992 Sunburst but since Sunburst and Vivid are the same paint code, it matches perfectly.

Btw, part of the "complete documentation" it came with was the original window sticker, so I'm pretty sure about the Torsen.

That would explain it. As I recall, when you had configured a cloth interior car, it would allow you to add sport suspension package, but then when you tried to add a hardtop, it would tell you you needed to select leather. If you had configured a cloth car without suspension pack, it would allow you to add the hardtop. If you then went back to add the sport suspension, it would again tell you to add leather.

I've always heard it said that if you aren't ready to ball up your car in a wad of twisted metal and walk away, you probably shouldn't take it on the track. I'm not ready to walk away yet. Heck, I've only driven it to work twice.
