wait tell rust forms on your tensioner bearings, the squeak will be back like mine. =(
For those who have heard my car in the last year I have had an annoying squeak coming from my blower belt. I changed the idler pulley to steel last year, tried a couple different brands of belts, adjusted and re-adjusted the tensioner but nothing seemed to work for more than a day. Took some time to go to Gary's this morning and after shoving a breaker bar between the tensioner and blower and moving the tensioner forward he discovered that the back bracket bolt had worked itself loose just enough to movement and the blower was able to rock out of alignment. Had to remove the blower because the bolt was almost impossible to loosen the rest of the way. A little blaster on the bolt and it came out but was buggered up. So we re-tapped the hole and installed a new bolt. Replaced the blower, placed some shim washers on the front bracket bolt for better alignment, re-attached the electrics and NO MORE SQUEAK!!!!!

the TDR belt tensioner squeaks very bad if you get water on it spraying down your engine bay or driving in heavy down poor.
