check engine light woes

Well i went to autozone to use their scanner and the code is p0012.I searched the pointy board and they say it could be the cps, camshaft position sensor.

Did you swap the CPS sensor with bmcreider's car to see if the CEL goes away?? FWIW it is a quick easy no cost test to eliminate the CPS as a possibility.

Yea car runs great. I will swap the cps sensor with bmcreider and try to find more info on the vvt.

Swapped the cps sensor out with bmcreiders and the same code still came up. Anyone know how to check the vvt?
