Any car would feel great if you drove in a straight line haha.

Fun event...the road course is a tricky one and I never felt good on it today. I coned 3 out of my 4 runs. Last one was clean for 4th place in Tire.

Congrats to onething and POS for taking 2nd and 3rd. Cheater Audi TT took first.

Yep, there was a black C5 Z06 that hit the wall during the 3rd heat. Driver was okay, car looked like about $1k in damage, all cosmetic.

I had a lot of fun today! Jeremy's car is surprisingly easy to drive for being such a beast. Jon got me by a couple of tenths on raw time and a second or so on clean runs, but I beat Jeremy straight up and on raw time.

Can't wait to drive the car in Blytheville!

It felt like I won the season when my raw time was better than the TT.

I had a good day, and I avoided doing any paperwork. I hate the damage done, and I'm glad it was all cosmetic as far as I could see.

    ..whatever..

    Wayne: 57.364
    Terry: 57.657 (0.293)
    Me: 57.704 (0.047)

    (.34 seconds separating us...)

I don't feel too bad about that... except that Wayne's never driven the car before ... grumble ...

    :)

I look forward to you and Jan buying M3s.

    They're ok.

Ken was the fastest person out of the start while I was working as starter. Based on his times, he was on fire!

Probaby the prior. Rarely is it the latter, although the auto tranny () ain't helping.

Have someone with more experience drive your car as-is. If they are significantly faster, then don't put another dime into the car. A good place for this is fun-runs after BMW or NTAXS events.

Yeah. I hate the auto . I had an instructor down at A&M co-drive with me. He and I were dead even after 6 runs. But who knows how good the instructors down there are, we've all hear the aggie jokes...

When I was working Heat 3, Stuart, Ken, Jon, and Jeremy were the only ones really pushing hard through the offsets that led into the kink on the back straight. That was a critical part, since it led into the fastest part of the course.

It really depends on how good Ken is at operating a "sewer"cam.
