    Default Should I keep all the Java updates?

    If I have Java 6 update 11, would it be OK to remove all the prior updates?

    Depends on how the apps that use Java are built. But, yes, getting rid of previous versions of Java should not be a issue most of the time.

    Personally, I say get rid of all versions of Java and the developers that write crapplications for it, but hey who am I to say

    You might want to keep version 6 around just in case you have some old apps that are picky. I have to.
