    Default Has anyone seen this car?

    Looking at this car, was wondering if anyone has any info on it before I make the drive to Texas. Owner says it needs a new diff but has Tien Suspension on it as well as a couple other goodies....

    Well, I think we'll probably come down to look at it..it's been hit in the right rear quarter and needs a new fender currently, I just wonder how bad the bodywork is on the car and why exactly, the rear diff went out..good opportunity to fit a torsen since this is a cloth car, but I seriously wonder how hard you have to hammer on a 1.8 rear to get it to go out...

    Depending on how it was hit a lot of them break when they get hit from behind. Just a guess...

    Yup... the mounting ears are a weak spot when in a collision.

    hmm, good to know!!!! he said it whines, I wonder if it's possible that it's just out of alignment because the ears have cracked on it?? sounds like it needs a new center section either way???

    well, we picked it up today..I'll post up some pics whenever it is done...a friend of mine bought it to replace his 95, he seems to like the car much better so far. It seems mechanically all there with a few pretty nice parts on it, but it does need some help in the aesthetics department, but that will be done here shortly...
