Thanks guys. I decided that at 40 I should start having FUN and took up motorcycling. I hopped on my girlfriend's Pikes Peak Supermoto race bike on Saturday, then took it to Texas World Speedway for a track day on Sunday.
Not to shabby for my second day on a bike...
Here's her ride, an AMA winning 2004 R1. She's getting her novice license on this beast!
And to top it all off, I'm up here in Dallas this week house hunting. I expect to be a Dallas resident before the end of the month.

Congrats on your decision to ride and learning on the track! Good form and great eye line on the first pic. Glad to see ya in full leathers learning bike control in a safe closed course. Nice R1 in second pic but it doesn't need to have that much stress on the front end. You can ease those straps up a bit, it ain't gonna hop out of the track on that trailer. Good luck house hunting!
