Default Well its been a year in the GTI...

It’s been one trouble free year in my 2007 VW GTI 4 Door.

In the last year I have added the following mods:

    Neuspeed Pro Cup Kit
APR Stage 1 Software (250HP and 300lb ft of torque)
    27MM APR RSB
    OEM Euro LED R32 taillights
    VMR V710 18X8.5 w/ 225/40-18 Dunlop Sport Maxx

The car still amazes me with its well roundedness and low overall ownership costs.

In the next few weeks she will roll 60,000 miles, 14,000 of which I put on her.

Here she was when I got her.

Here are a few pics I took this weekend:

Looks good. Take a PC and buff out the scratches.

Ugh I know. They are there but hard to see. That picture that highlighted that in the rising sun made me realize how bad it is.

I will be detailing the thing in the next few weeks.

I have been so lazy over the last year!

Yep.. 17's look so small on these cars.

    18's are perfect!

Sharp ride. I love the compact 2-box shape and the practicality of the 5-door hatch. It's kinda like a 7/10ths scale of my RL Vue, only more athletic, powerful, cleaner, and German.

Those wheels are an excellent choice for that car. Look really sharp - no bling, just sporty. The R32 tails are a nice addition as well.

That "Beware of Dog" sign looks absolutely photochopped for some reason. Woof!

I think there should be a special GTI owners section of the boards.

Nice car though, it reminds me that I want to color match my lowers. You should consider picking up a set of ECS Tuning Smoked Sidemarkers. Gets rid of the bright orange for essentially black, it looks so much better and it is a cheap change to boot.
