    Question Tech Support Please!

    Try downloading the service pack from microsoft and installing it manually.

    If you don't have at least two gig of ram DO NOT install the service pack 3.

    It's huge. I used a restore point and run without it now.

    What he said, or call your service desk and ask them to check out your SMS client (if your company uses WSUS or SMS to push out updates), it might be stuck in a loop constantly trying to update SQL
