I told the guys at ECR how excited everyone was about it last year and how they are looking forward to helping out the kids by bringing in toys. Thought it was great for the track to make it happen.

Thanks Ken o. If there's anything I can do to help let me know. This will be the one and only chance to get my Dad on track....

    i am in for this!
I learned this the hard way.....

Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.

If they do it, don't be TCB! This is for kids who need it more than you do.
    M3 is always the answer.

    It's now on the calendar.

I posted this as a toys for tots thing, but IIRC, it's actually a toy run, where the toys/money is donated to a local battered women's shelter in the area. I'm sure ken/maggie have more details.

I think that's what Ken meant by "Don't be TCB".

Guys, I think goofygrin posted $20 because the entry fee last year was "$20 or an unwrapped toy". However, since this is for charity (i.e., for people who don't have the luxury of debating entry fee costs for track days), please feel free to give more if you can.

Thanks, and see you at the track!

I'm totally new to the track day thing and looking for a mentor and this looks like a good place to start. I am willing to take on a co-driver in exchange for a little hand holding.
