As long as you don't try and flip over an SUV, it should be alright.

lol, good point about the palettes. Daytime pics are coming in a couple of hours or so.

It is difficult to get an aggressive / artsy angle on the car that shows off the lip and trunk at the same time.

I never had one single issue with mine. I think it was just your bad luck.

How tough was this to install? I have one for my 99, and after playing around just a bit, it seems fairly easy, but it seems like I will need an extra few sets of hands.

If you are at stock ride height, all you have to do is slide yourself next to the bumper perpendicularly so that you can reach one arm under the car and into the bumper cover to push the bolts through the holes you drill so that you can take the other hand and attach the nut.

It isn't a comfortable job to do, but it's possible.

edit: The holding up the lip was done by putting in the end screws/clips first in the fenderwell, then using anything of the right height to prop under the lip and hold it to the bumper cover.

    +1 Looks great.

+1 Binder clips or little clamps = easy to install.

-1 Mine shattered into several bits during ax run (yeah, I know, try and avoid the cones...)
