There's a number you can call Mazda at that will tell you what you have.
Not sure what it is... one of the others here should know.

I have noticed you guys talking about diffrent packages (like A package)
here is what my car has thats stock can someone tell me what package I have?
Cruise control
Leather
Factory Bose stereo CD cassette with Bose speakers
Rear window (glass) and defroster
Miata Floor mats
Power steering, brakes, mirrors, and windows
A/C
Some kinda plastic and net thingy behind the seats running the width of the car I assume for storage.
Also the exhaust is kind loud it seems to have no leaks but I dont see any signs of it being an aftermarket exhaust system,...Were the Miata stock muffler systems loud?
I am sorry about all the questions, however I dont know much about this car and you guys seem to be very much in the know.
Is there an expert I could pay to look over the car for me and see what it may need and help me with a plan of action?
Also I will help with any event I can, and volunteer entertainment to some of the events in the future. But I aint gonna strip...LOL, however I do know a lot of strippers![]()

Miata.net has a full breakdown of the different packages and options here. The A/B/C package info relates to the 1990-94 cars. in 1995, Mazda switched to prefered equipment packages. The link will help you figure out what you have.
FYI...the NB's had a bunch of options that could be ordered individually, not 'packaged' as in the NA's. If you don't have the original window sticker, calling Mazda is the only way to be sure. (Things like a Torsen diff. for example)
Sounds like your car had the Leather Package for '99. That would come standard with a/c, pw, pl, pm, cruise, power antenna, power steering, 15" wheels, tan leather seats, two-tone tan/black interior, wind blocker (the plastic/net "thingy" you referred to), Bose stereo with AM/FM/CD/cassette player, and a Torsen limited slip differential. The rear window defroster was standard on all Miatas starting in '99.
The Torsen diff would have been included equipment on any '99+ Miata iwht a tan leather interior and a manual transmission.
A stock Miata exhaust can seem loud to someone not used to sports and/or convertible cars. Feel free to stop by our next tech day (whenever POS decides to host the next one), and have a few of us evaluate your car, if you want.

Man that sounds great Altain, thanks a lot!!!!
Is this Torsen LSD any good?
I cant figure out how to work the wind blocker thingy or get the boot over the covertible top when its down

The boot may be damaged, I admit I didnt spend much time on it too

No! Torsen is bad, bad, bad. I had better swap my open diff. with your Torsen. :POriginally Posted by Billy Blaze
I guess that answers my question...LOL

Thanks Altiain, just got off the phone with Mazda my 99' does have the Torsen for sure...kewl, one less thing to get...after looking at the windblocker more than 2 seconds I figured it just pops up but still havent bothered with the boot yet I had just rather start driving than messing with putting it on.
I will most likely check it out this spring though on all day sunny days.
