    Don't you think that all the seals, bushings, hoses and belts etc. would be dried out by now!?

    Not all of them heck my 43 year old Cadillac still has many of its original seals and busings. Really depends on how it was stored IMHO.

    I'd replace all the belts and hoses and see how it does.
