Avg. cost to swap 1.6 to 1.8

I looked thru some of the posts here and couldn't find anything about it but was wondering what the average cost to do the swap in a shop would be.

Or if soemone here wants to do it and show me how its done and pay yall instead haha

I will be ordering the kit this friday from Flyin Miata and then I bought one off ebay should be here in about 5 days and I am going to try and find a new transmission as well.

Might as well swap motor mounts, need drill bits for the TB spacer from FM, extra wire for the CAS extention, etc. I did mine for a total of around $750ish. But that was in my garage with help from Kamil, Adam, AJ, Thomas and a few others. Talk to Rogue about it, he can hook you up and always treats your car like his own.

Yea the kit comes with everything including motor mounts.

Well heck you`re all set if you`re buying the complete kit from FM! I just bought the tb adapter & coil bracket & made everything else myself! As for the install, should be easy if you already have everything with the FM kit. You need the 1.8 exhaust manifold also.

I did the swap on my car and did it for a couple other people. Let me know if you have any questions, let me know.

Looks like m might have to hurry up with this project. Driving to work today my car suddenly spiked in temp. and had to pull over smoking and bubbling fluid from the radiator overflow so im going to have to check that all out today.
