    Default Tires

I tried the Kumho XS, I tried the Dunlop Star Specs, now what?
I am thinking about giving the Yoko AD08 a shot. Comments?
    M3 is always the answer.

I'm struggling with choosing between those and the Bridgestone RE-11s.

The Kumhos are great tires, but they do not work well on the Nationals surface. If I were only doing local events, then I would go with Kumhos. They are cheap and they work... on most sufaces.

I agree with jrj on the XS's but I would add that unlike some of the rest the XS don't give up almost anything when run at full tread.

As far as the AD08 go just make sure you get them shaved!

Vorshlag had the AD08 on their X MR last season. I think they liked them a lot. They certainly aren't a cheap tire though.

I loved the RE-01R, will probalby try the RE-11 next unless my client (yoko) can give me a good deal on some AD08s. The Star Specs are so so on the Elise

Mostly just slower. You might talk to Wayne Atkins about it (pm me for his number) he had a full tread set and didn't like them.
