    Default BG44K fuel system cleaner

Anyone ever use this fuel system cleaner? Is it worth the extra cost?

Ya having a problem with the fuel system? Or just an overwhelming urge to spend money for no apparent reason?

This request is not for me. I use Techron prior to every oil change. A young one here at work is having hesitation issues with her 2008 Scion tc (40K miles). Someone on a Scion forum recommended using BK44K for this problem.

I'd say try plugs first along with some seafoam and see how that does. I can't remeber do those have coil of plug? If so maybe one of them is starting to "act up".

Or just wait for it to accelerate itself into a wall.

She is thinking of trading it in. I think she likes making $500 per month car payments. She is $3,000 upside down now.

She put some fuel injector cleaner in the car last night, but she can't remember which brand she bought. She said it seems to run better. She had originally bought the $2,500 extended warranty, but then she cancelled it. Is the hesitation issue usually covered under the power train warranty?

I would guess 3/36, but it could depend on how much noise you make.

Per Toyota - Powertrain Coverage: 60 months/60,000 miles (engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, seatbelts and air bags).

Is it kicking a CEL or is she just looking for a reason to replace it.
