Northeast Tarrant County, in the northern end of North Richland Hills (and about 5 miles east of POS ). Just west of HEB, just south of Keller and Southlake, just north of Richland Hills (no, really ), and just east of Watauga.

BTW Titus - did you know that 183 is commonly referred to as Airport Freeway, but you'll never find that on a map either? And through the Mid-Cities corridor it is not only Highway 183 and Airport Freeway, but Highway 121 as well?

There are a lot of situations like that -- 635 is LBJ, 35E is Stemmons, 75 is Central. I guess it comes from the historic development of the roads and city.

FWIW, Orlando was much worse when I lived there. Roads often combined (like 183/121 do, but for LONG periods of miles), and some roads even had two different "word names," leaving you with four different individual ways to refer to the road -- and 16 permutations. Add to that the "East-West Expressway" that runs north and south through all but the totally unpopulated areas of the county and it's a freak show extrordinaire.

PS: I'm part of the Frisco crowd, too, but grew up in the Wichita Falls area were we were taught not to say F---, S---, or O-------.

Seriously, we should host some "South O-------" (Plano/Frisco/North Dallas) GTGs!

That sounds almost as bad as when I lived in Kansas City. Depending on what side of the state line and what particular city you were in, the road you were on changed names many, many, many times. Was I on 115th or Wornall or Lower Southwest Blvd. or... a crap...

Some of my family lives in Mississippi. I drove there a few years ago, & soon realized that through at least the town they lived in, there were no street signs...at all...just roads

Why invest in street signs if the majority of the population can't read?
