    I loved Wendy's Super Bar!

    I liked the McDLT, too.

I used to eat Arch Deluxes and Bell Beefers. Surprised the McRib wasn't on there.

IIRC, the McDLT was not canceled because of lask of interest... it had to do with the environmentalists campaign to eliminate Styrofoam containers. It was successful with fast food chains, forcing most to switch to paper based packaging. When McDonalds switched, they couldn't figure out how to make a cardboard package for the McDLT that the employees could quickly assemble, so they dropped it.

I don't think that the McRib was a failure, which is why it keeps coming back.

Obviously, you have not tried one.

A much better name for it would have been the McGrissel. Of course, we are spoiled to much better BBQ places in Texas than most of the US.

I have never had one from McDs, but I remember in school they would serve these pieces of meat. They had been pressed into the shape of a rack of ribs, and covered in BBQ sauce. They were pretty good for cafeteria food.

Oh, I've had them. I loved them in the late 80s, but I did not care for my last venture into McRib land several years ago. Regardless if we like them or not, people buy them, which makes them a success.
