Since that is what 18-wheelers run, I would have to guess never in a large personal vehicle.

True... but 18 wheelers are carrying tons of cargo... POS isn't moving pallets of goods (that we know of )

I can see a VW diesel but anything the size of a small bus?

I thought the Excursion was already DOA, this must be it's last year. It's not a terribly fuel efficient Diesel. But you could tow a small country behind one!

Just thought I'd bump this to the top.

The Jeep Liberty is now available with a very nice (and spensive) diesel.

I love it! It's big, roomy, quiet, and smooth......but it has plenty of power and great handling, although it tends to push a tad if I try and treat it like a Miata We have 35K miles on it and has only been in the shop for A/C auxilary fan staying on all the time, THEN AGAIN for the A/C auxilary fan never coming on To me, it compares much more favorably to a higher priced Lexus ES330 or a Mercedes CK230, than the Altima or Camary, which are in the same price range. I would buy another one....oh, wait......I think I have one on order

Hey, you want to buy it??????
