I just saw that. It is sad. He was one of the late night kings!

Just the other day I think I read how he still occasionally sends jokes to Letterman. He was truly one of a kind.

I remember watching Carson. I love The Great Carmac (sp?).

Many a night I watched Carson and stayed up for Letterman.

    Sad day indeed...

One of my favorite Carson moments...

Carson to Dolly Parton (and I'm paraphrasing here) - "I'd give a year's salary to see what's under that shirt..."

He was the King of late night television...

Hey, I remember Jack Parr, Carson's predecessor! I miss them both.

Did they have television back in the 30's?

1830's?? No... onething was still dealing with the First Jihad of Abd al Qadir 1832-1834.

    Better still.

Johnny had Zsa Zsa Gabor on as a guest and Zsa Zsa brought her pet Persian cat with her on the show. Cat was sitting in Zsa Zsa's lap.

Zsa Zsa said to Johnny, "Would you like to pet my pussy?"

Johnny replied, "Sure, if you move your cat."
