Alignment is perfect. My spark problem is still not fixed so I am travelling with a total of 12-coils, 2 igniters, stock 1.6 coils and wires, 16 spark plugs, a spare CAS, and lots of hope.

Another great event. I really had fun. My adding the Friday session this year make it a real blast. I was able to get only one of my four sessions on Saturday on my MaxQData. Probably the first session. My best lap in that session was a 1:42.4 sec., I think that's a little over a second faster than my best time last year.

We had one short session for track clean up in turn 2. Later, I heard that someone's screaming ballast caused the fluid on the track and the corner worker thought it was anti-freeze.

Thanks to black roadster for the help with my frozen rear caliper. Thanks to Nails for the loan of the camera mounts.

I was in Group 4. I was a little nervous about being in that advanced of a group, but I think every thing worked out well. Thank you to all the other members of the group for your patients while I looked for a place to get out of your way. Its amazing how fast the boosted cars can come up on you.

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

+1 for pics of Jeff's balls of fire...

Doug, let me know how the video from the Chase Session turned out. If you can burn me a CD and mail me a copy I'll PM my address to you. And thanks a million for the gas! I finally got it washed off my hands... :)

Once again it was a hell of a good weekend! Gabe and Quan and Jackie and I had a good trip back thru OKC where I introduced them to the goodness of Johnnie's burgers... Mmmmm.

    Glory:

Fun weekend and lots of fun as usual. I should have a video on youtube later. Also, a special thanks to everyone who pumped my pedal while bleeding brakes.

Other than it would have been 24 plugs, that sounds like the packing list for driving a TR6 out of your area code...

Surprisingly I got there and gapped the plugs then the car immediately worked for the rest of the weekend aside from a wheel bearing. Its so much more fun when you don't have to work on them.

Hello all. I met several members of this forum at Hallett (my 3rd time there). I ran Friday and in in group 4, had a blast as usual. I guess I need to watch this page to find more fast things to do in this area. Maybe somebody can show me how to drive around those autocross cone things some day but from the outside I gotta say I'm kinda skeptical...

Had an awesome time once again. Great seeing everyone. Here's my attempt at an "epic" vid (ala 0086). Please note that there are a couple of NSFW, I repeat, NSFW words in the music (two actually).

For those of you at work Monday morning (suckers) play it low. For the rest, I recommend full screen and loud..enjoy.

Black Roadster, Rootdown_53 and yours truly decided on an impromtu game of cat-n-mouse on Friday. It was fun until Hustler shows up

Try and watch the whole thing, and no you can't have your 10 minutes back.

    Glad I could help Conecerned.

Welcome to the forum B_K. I remember talking to you on grid if yours was the Nordic Green NC.

I had a great time this year and was able to get over a couple of hours worth of hd video on and off the track. Now I gotta figure out how to edit it and post it. Two problems right now: 1. I have an eight year old computer that frame drops the hd. And 2. I have to go to work so I'll post later in the week hopefully.

Was great seeing everyone and a fun ride home with Rogue leading Drift Devil, Black Roadster, and me along old route 66.

No more gloves on the leather wheel for me. It would have been less dramatic if my hands didn't slip.

Thanks for the video SixAce. Even in a 1.6 you can kick my ass on the track. I need more seat time!

Friday: Thanks Rogue for leading us up 35 and 77 (fried pies), and Rte. 66 (pops, and Rock Cafe) and DriftDevil for the lead through OKC for a Bunnie's (kiddie) Onion burger. Awesome top down trip guys. Thanks.

Sat: Great day at the track, I'm still getting slower, it's a hard thing to accomplish, but in the 8 times I've been at Hallett I've only spun once and after watching Dan's video (thanks) I know I'm taking the right lines. My car and dad's car did great and he made it back to Albuquerque around 9 last night.

Thanks Arkansas Miata Club and all of you guys for participating. Of 75~ cars, 20 were from Texas. Good showing!
