I'll be there, but I am getting a little tired of Kellers. Last week took the cake... After waiting 30 minutes and not seeing the waitress, I walked up to the front to order. I asked her to bring it back to me when it was done, and she said "No... wait here for it... it will only be 5 or 10 minutes."

I can't wait till it gets hotter so I can convince ya'll to move inside to some place with decent service.

Can't do this week. I'm already trying to figure out how to be in two places at the same time, 10 miles apart.....

crap, next week is out too....maybe the 5th.

Why wait? How about something more centrally located? Los Colinas, Coppell, Irving?

How about the Westies move closer to Dallas so they can enjoy an EAST side meet....
    Blah blah blah!

Yeah, it's hard for us East Siders to make it out west before you call it a night and sit down for a nice game of checkers... at 6:30...

Well there is Papas BBQ at 2231 West Northwest Highway, Dallas. It's between Loop 12 and 35E. Same price as most bbq but domestics are as cheap or cheaper than Keller's. Plenty of inside and outside seating.

Kellers is convenient to me and since I have to be at work at 5am Thursday morning, I personally doubt I would drive much farther unless it was north on 75.

This seems to come up every couple of months. Wednesday nights have always been an eastside meet. There are six more days to pick for a westside GTG and maybe a once a month centrally located GTG on another night of the week.
    ...and across the line.

Since we're talking about tomorrow, let's stick with Keller's.

I'd most likely make a run to Pappa's for the benefit of the Westies next week. I could even take off work early and bring a checker board...

When it gets hot and/or the weather turns shitty, I'm down for a venue with A/C.

Once upon a time, we even had a run of GTGs at Angelo's in the Town of the Cow.

I hate to say it, but BR's got a pretty good idea with the once-a-month central GTG.

Somebody needs to scout out the Twisted Root at Campbell and 75 and see how parking is after 8... there's a nice area with a fountain and they serve beer on the patio...

TC got me thinking about this area...

Third Base Sports bar in Frisco. Nice patio, right next to the parking lot.....and the waitresses are well worth the visit.

Yeah I know its "too far" north for most, but still worth the visit for anyone that wants to come up this way.

I would say it's far enough north that it needs to be its own event... The Wednesday night thing has been going strong for a long time and it is an eastside event... It would be a bad idea to mess with it...

But... there are Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays...

It just sucks having to drive 100 miles round trip to hang out with folks. When I spent my nights in mw everynight it was simply WAY too far almost 90 miles one way

No doubt. Its obvious the Keller's thing has a life of its own. We get past the first week in May and I can "host" something on a periodic basis if anyone wanted to head this way...I'll think of something after May 8.

you could do it at Luigi's in Frisco. BYOB (or free if you buy something)... and Dritan (the owner) is a car guy.

    I'm in for keller's.

It's been good the last hand-full of times--- as long as we have the regular waitress it is golden. The fill ins we had last week were useless.
