It was a major eye sore that needed to go. It was never a great stadium to look at in the first place, and it only got worse towards the end.

Went down to the tailgate party with a couple of friends. You could feel the concusion from each explosion. The wind was out of the southeast so the dust cloud blew out over Loop12 and the river bottom. Overall I have to say it was a great morning.

Damn I forgot about it, I was wanting to see it in person. I bet it was pretty cool.

It's funny you say that... It really had a bigger than life perception about it. I recall the first time I was in Dallas on a business trip. The Taxi driver pointed it out to me on the drive from the airport to hotel and I was shocked. I recall thinking "Really? Thats it? The iconic Texas Stadium? That place looks like a dump".

I work across the street from it, I won't know where to turn to go to work anymore!! The implosion was cool to witness for the wow factor and feeling the concussions of the blasts, however it also gave me an weird 9-11 feeling.

+1, Titus and jrj512. My first impression, in 98, was wow what a piece of crap.

Did anyone else know that they put a 3D camera in there during the implosion?!? This is all kinds of silly cool. Pan around, play, pan around while it plays! If they'd positioned it better, it might not have taken that beam hit to the head, but this is very cool looking!

Oh, and this version lets you see not only the movie you can zoom around in, but you can see the flat panorama version of it as well. Neat stuff!
