Thread: Headlight question

    Default Headlight question

Hey does anyone know if you legally have to have highbeams in your headlights or can you pass inspection without them? Yes I have highbeams right now but I'm working on ideas for a headlight project.

    I think you do.

I had a high-beam out and they failed me for it one year.

Guess eventually I need to put a new bulb in my indicator light. Honda hasn't had it work in years. Guess the guys forgot to check for that light.

The way I read that is that you don't have to have high beams, but if you do you must have an interior indicator for it that functions as described in the check list.

I read it the same way.

Cool. I may end up looking for something that has both. I might swing by the old inspection place I usually go to and see if they would "pass" it without them.
