14" Tires Guidance needed

Dunlop has 2 sizes of the Star Spec that would work on the POSIV not sure which size I should get......

The 185/60R14 has a diameter of 22.7" and goes 921 revs per mile and has a section width of 7.5".
The 195/60R14 has a diameter of 23.3" and goes 897 revs per mile and has a section width of 7.9".

Price is the same so which tire and why??

I would go with 195 width. It is a nice width for a Miata and you will use the extra grip. With a 1.8, the gearing advantage of the 185 is not as important.

BTW, Treadzone has some nice prices if you plan to shave them. You will probably have to call them instead of using their web site, though. If you plan to get full-tread, then Tire Rack is probably just as good.

I agree with the 195. The Direzza is far superior than the old Azenis, you will LOVE them.

or....We can put them on my car and I'll 'shave' them down to 4/32" for you - should be ready about September!
