Ok you street tire types, listen up!!
There's a new SCCA sanctioned autox series that has been given the "green-light" by the National Office.
Texas Region Solo is in negotiations with the event organizers for hosting one of these events. There will be a total of 4 events in 2011 scatered across the nation.
The series will based on the current National Street Tire Challenge which is being hosted by the Milwakee Region this year. Here's a link to thier 2010 event:

If Texas Region hosts one of these events next year, the Street Tire Challenge will be on Saturday & a regular Texas Region event will be on Sunday of the same weekend. ....and of course, we'll have to have a party Saturday night!!
So, do you guys have any interest in this type of event??
I'd love to see Madarash on street tires
I think I could dig up some street tires from somewhere... You could count me in.
I'll do it.

Depends on the classing. The current National Street Tire Challenge assigns a modifier value so that Stock, SP, Prepared & Mod cars can compete on street tires. ST classes run their normal index. The modifier needs some work, imho.

Or run the R-comp class and take the modifier.
M3 is always the answer.
I'd bring the mustang out for this!
