So I am just curious to see what kind of ink everyone has going on in here. :)

I have three small bits at the moment. Baby dragon on the ankle, which two of my best friends also have. Cracked, burning heart on the right thigh. Tribal swan with accents on the left bicep, based on a friend's 4-gauge earring.
Looking for a half-sleeve in the next year or so, and there are a couple of Latin & French quotes I plan to add at some point.
That Kung Pao Chicken sounds pretty good right now...hungry!

The "Kung Pao Chicken" remark reminds me of the guy that thought he was getting deep philosophical chinese characters, and instead got a tattoo that said "Gullible White Boy."

My ex-wife's middle son got the worst tattoo I've ever seen. He had to tell me it was a sun; it was a black smear on his upper arm. He was very proud of it.
I said to him, "Todd, I've always wanted a tattoo, but I could never find anything I wanted on my body the rest of my life."
I'm a few months younger than MadMerv, and that is still true.
Don't get me wrong, because I have seen many very beautiful tattoos, but I guess my Uncle with many tattoos made an impression when he told me he would kick my butt if he ever heard of me getting one. He regretted everyone of his.

I share your view of tatoos though.
The son of a lady I work with took a bet from his friends for $350. He now permanently has: Property of John, Fred, and Jim on his right butt cheek. Hope that money went to something REALLY good.

I have a small one on my rt shoulder, wish it was alot bigger or wasn't there at all...I was 18 and just HAD to have a tattoo...but no money of course. I plan to get some actuall work done on the underside my left arm some day(but able to be covered up), something with more personal meaning this time.
A buddy of mine got a bunch of random chinese characters tattoo'd on his back, just picked them off the wall. The one he had on his neck was supposed to be unity, he thought it was cool. We were at a chinese restaurant with my wife and some other friends, we decided to get our waitress to read his tattoos and she started snickering. We asked what it was and she simply said "and". We didn't really understand so she said again "and." She then told us he had the character for "and" tattooed on the back of his neck. It meant unity as in uniting two parts of a thought or sentence I guess.
The guy had a friggin chinese ampersand tattooed on his neck. &

A good friend of mine whose sister passed away unexpectedly entered something of a pact with the other brothers and sisters. They all had tattoos in her honor. His said "love you Jenny" except the n's looked more like r's. I said to him, "very nice, but who is Jerry?" Apparently all the guys at his workplace thought it said Jerry as well.
I have a USMC Tattoo on my left shoulder and my son's name over my heart. I want the Tx. State seal on my right shoulder.
