    Default Civic -bushings

The bushings between the top of my shock and the car have eaten themselves away to the point that I have no clue what size they were. The top of the shock is starting to move around and make a horrible rattle.

Any ideas on where to get this part? I was thinking junk yard or 4x4 shop. Thanks.

I should have you covered, then. I'm almost positive I wound up with an extra set of shock bushings... also have a near complete set of urethane suspension bushings, most of which never got installed before the car got squished...

Sweet, check out what you have and let me know. I'll buy you dinner or something or just provide cash.

Nice! I'll give you the whole box of miscellaneous Honda bushings... It looks like what I have left doesn't have any urethane shock bushings, but it's got the new, sealed set that came with the new shocks we put in her car... You're welcome to use or pass along the rest. I think it has the shifter bushings... They add a lot of noise, but REALLY tighten up the feel of the shifter.

If anyone want to do their trailing arm bushings on their civic or integra, I have the specific tool that let you press in and out the bushing without disassemble the trailing arm.

Wednesday night sometime should work. Probably going mountain biking, but should be done in time to meet up somewhere.

Thank you Loren! I appreciate you hanging on to those and passing them along to me.

It took me longer to air up my compressor than it did to change them out. No more clunk and rattle anymore!
