I think Mazda would do well to remember what happens when vehicles are designed primarily around focus group feedback... like the Aztek was.

Maybe that is why my 2000 F150 had more cupholders than seats.
Americans want less shift shock from automatic transmissions, even if it sacrifices power. They want less lane drift, even if that makes for a loose on-center feel from the steering wheel.
How infused is the Big Brother... er, I mean, OnStar system into the GM vehicle?
I can imagine the removal of such crap is going to make someone some money.
