Default engineers or metalworkers: tungsten carbide, what's it worth?

A friend of mine at work told me he has 80lbs of tungsten carbide. His dad used to work in the oil industry and the stuff he has was used as a pipe insert or something like that. He is wondering what it's worth.

Here is a pic he sent me.

I know tungsten carbide is cool stuff and has a huge amount of uses in the engineering field as well as in jewellery, but anyone have any idea what it might be worth, or how/where to sell it?
